a Los Angeles–based producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and educator working across both the creative and business sides of the music industry.

His work has been featured globally on BBC Radio 2, Lifetime TV, Love Island USA, and The Kelly Clarkson Show, and across major editorial playlists including Spotify’s Sad Hour, All New Pop, Chill Pop, and Apple Music’s Breaking Singer-Songwriter and Breaking Pop. He co-wrote and produced Ryan Nealon’s viral single “Feel Good,” which reached the Top 30 on the U.S. iTunes Pop chart and charted globally. Bret's work and musicianship have received personal praise from artists including Annie Lennox and Leona Lewis.

With a foundation in classical piano, guitar, and upright bass study at UCLA and The Colburn School, Bret brings a deep and versatile musical background spanning orchestral, pop, indie singer-songwriter, R&B/soul, metal, and alternative genres. His work is defined by musicality, adaptability, and a strong instinct for what connects—both creatively and commercially.

In addition to his production work, Bret offers private lessons in piano, guitar, and music production, working one-on-one with a growing roster of students.

He also brings over six years of experience in sync licensing, music supervision support, and catalog management, contributing to projects across film, television, advertising, and trailers with a focus on music clearance, rights coordination, and metadata operations.
